(Don't ask.) I did look up the name in the big programming language database which goes all the way back to the fifties I think, and it seems that "Pure" isn't taken yet, so I claim it now! (Maybe I should also register the www.pure-lang.org domain?) Thanks for being interested in Pure (and Q). Your Geometric Algebra project sounds very interesting!
