pyzor distributed server ?

Hi,

I can read on pyzor debian package description 
<http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/pyzor> that "[pyzor] establishes a 
distributed database of spam digests".

Is that true ? From what I got, pyzor use only one server of your own 
choice and no distributed database mechanism.
Unfortunately, I can't find any document explaining the behavior of 
pyzor server, so I can confirm/infirm my doubts.
