Most of the spam to my own trac server was for the purpose of increasing the
pagerank of whatever they were linking to.  It was all link spam.  In
addition, spammers aren't well known for being shrewd with  social norms
anyway.  :P

I think a SF account requirement is suitable for this crowd.
