Thanks; my notes on how to do a release on PyPI didn't make the upload step clear. I've now uploaded a copy of 1.2.3 to PyPI directly and it appears that it will work. I don't normally use it, though, so if you continue to have problems please reply with details on how it's failing now. FWIW, your problem with Literal and append is https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/pyxb/ticket/219 and a fix is in the git repository on sourceforge.
