Dear PyX users: Two questions: 1. I would like to display a number in exponential form in my graph key. I currently hand-code the string with the number and its exponent separated with something like "\cdot 10^". Is it be possible to use the texter in PyX to emit the appropriate TeX string for a given exponential number? 2. I can't find a way to rotate text that I place using g.text(x,y,r"Label",[...]). Is there a feature that I've overlooked? Thanks! Tom |

Hi, > 2. I can't find a way to rotate text that I place using=20 > g.text(x,y,r"Label",[...]). Is there a feature that I've overlooked? Incidentally, I have included an answer to this question into the FAQ this weekend. Take a look at the new question 4.1 "How can I rotate text?" You can get the latest version of the FAQ from <http://pyx.sourceforge.net/documentation.html> Best regards, Gert --=20 Gert-Ludwig Ingold email: Gert.Ingold@Physik.Uni-Augsburg.DE Institut f=FCr Physik Phone: +49-821-598-3234 Universit=E4t Augsburg Fax : +49-821-598-3222 D-86135 Augsburg WWW : www.physik.uni-augsburg.de/theo1/ingold Germany PGP : 86FF5A93, key available from homepage |
