[PyX-user] How to Passthrough Raw Tikz Commands

I've been using Pyx and find it to be a really well designed interface for
pgf/tikz. Development, however, seems to have slowed down. Is there a way
to pass raw Tikz/pgf commands through to access features that are not yet
covered here? Or is there a guide for extending PyX? Or are feature
requests still handled?
