If Gert wants to invest some time into this issue, fine. A positive
side-effect would be that I then could also build the FAQ on
standard Debian installations without having to worry about yet
another LaTeX package.

This is definitely not something for this release. Nobody officially
knows about this functionality anyway, so why should we bother ;-)
