#13 installation with py2exe completes with warnings-start fails


Under Windows2000, with python 2.2.2 and wxPython the installation procedure seemed
to succeed, although reporting some missing modules (see list below and the full trace enclosed).

Although pyut compiles, when the file is started and the nice welcome logo shows up an error is reported:
"The following error occured: No module named compiler".

After this, the application quits and nothing else happens.

What could be the reason for the missing modules?

How can the problem be solved?

    This is a bad problem. Even some python modules are
    missing. The .exe works well on windows 98.
    I suggest you to use it on Linux and forget Microsoft
    Windows, PyUt is developed for Linux and just maintained on
    Windows, but at this time no PyUt developers works anymore
    on Windows...
