When I try to install this SIS my phone (M600i) says the Security check of that component had failed. Installation not possible.

Any hints?

  The certificate of the installation package has expired, see:

  Before installation, turn the device's time to early 2007 (I don't remember the exact expiration date) and then install the release - this should work.
  
  The other option is to re-sign the release e.g. via Symbian signed (https://www.symbiansigned.com).
