Whatever I type into the box it does not react in any way... furthermore, every character I enter is received twice, meaning typing "foo" results in "ffoooo" being input into the box. The softkeys allow for no further interaction as well.

finally find out that it wouldn't happen if only i turn off the handwriting mode --forgive my poor english.

me too, with M600i. When I turn off handwriting, it works, but I cannot input some sign(e.g. '_', '\').
it seems a problem about appuifw.Text(), here is my text script:
