Pythool is an all-in-one program that helps English speakers learn Spanish. It features text-to-speech support, verb conjugation, a dictionary with over 70,000 words, a thesaurus, quizzes, full-text translation, idioms, a verb browser, and a large reference section.
The changes in this release are as follows: Major bugs involving installation failures, memory-intensive SQL queries, translation retrieval, and mature content in child-friendly versions have been fixed. The latest versions of SQLite and PySQLite are now used. A new Windows .exe is available for this release, and compatibility with Python 2.3 and Mac OS X has improved. Console warnings regarding unknown encodings have been eliminated. Gtk stock icons have been added to all buttons, dialogs, and menus. Themes and fonts are now managed internally through a theme selection interface, and the application's copyright has been updated.
