Pythool 2.0 is now available.

Version 2.0 of Pythool is now available. This is a major upgrade for current users of Pythool.

Pythool is an all-in-one program to help English speakers learn Spanish. Features include: Pronunciation, verb conjugation, dictionary (72,000+ words), thesaurus, quizzes, full-text translation, idioms, a verb browser, and a large reference section.

Here is a quick list of changes in version 2.0: The user interface now uses PyGtk-2. 3200+ new words have been added to the dictionary, and a computer jargon glossary has been included. The translation module supports 6 new translation services, and 9 new reading comprehension exercises have been added. Speed improvements and bug fixes have been made to the Search-On-Demand feature. The Spanish Letters Toolbar now supports capitalized accented characters, and the help system has been improved. The Verb Families module offers the pronunciation feature, built-in window icons are now provided, and the logo has been redesigned.
