I found Pythonol program very entertaining and played with it quite a bit. I myself want to make a dictionary for Crimean Tatar language, and was looking for a front-end and dictionary engine that would use simple database format. I was wondering if modification of Pythonol for another language would be permitted, and if I would have an opportunity to change the interface according to the way I see fit - keeping, of course, all appropriate references to the origin of this great program? Distribution is all non-commercial - Crimean Tatar is a minority language that has little commercial importance, if any.

Sure you can. I'm the author of Pythonol and I think that's a great idea. I would really like to see Pythonol-like software created for other languages (i.e. French, Italian, and anything else). Since your project is non-commercial, change the code and user interface as you see fit and have a blast with it. Good luck and best wishes.
