I'm afraid this can't be implemented in pythondialog itself. This kind
of thing needs to be implemented in dialog before pythondialog can use
it. Depending on what you want to achieve precisely, that could require
a new dialog exit status with special output when it is used. I suggest
you to discuss this with Thomas Dickey, the dialog maintainer. cf. the
