#7 whishlist: Smartphone edition port

would you please make a Windows Mobile 5.1 Smartphone Edition port (and a .cab installer for OTA / Mac people)?

The currently offered .cab sais it is "not intended for this kind of device" on my HTC S620, typical of pure PocketPC installers.

A whole range of HTC-manufactured devices have a real qwertz-keyboard and run on smartphone edition nonetheless, so this is not something nobody would be able to use for lack of input method.

thank you!

Sorry, I don't own a Smartphone so I can't test a Smartphone port. Perhaps you or someone else could do it

Please see the newly uploaded pythonce-smartphone package available for download at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=104228&package_id=247631

This version supports both Pocket PC and Smartphone devices running Windows Mobile 2003 or higher (i.e. also supports WM5.0 and WM6 devices).

It should work on the HTC S620 (but I have not personally verified it since I don't own one). Would you mind downloading that particular release and reporting back if it works on your device type.
