Sorry, the walkthroughs haven't yet been updated to match Pythoncard 0.8
and upwards.
on_openBackground has changed its name to on_initialize
This (and some other useful info) can be found in
Pythoncard/docs/migration_guide.html
The samples directory includes an updated version of the Counter example.
