[Pythoncard-users] [OT] Messages not getting through

[XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX]

Just a quick question....does the mailing list server employ a content
filter, or has anyone else had messages not making it to the list recently?

I sent one yesterday and one last Saturday on the "Using py2exe with
pythoncard" thread but they never made it.

Fingers crossed this one makes it...sorry for the off-topic post.

There isn't a content filter on the list. The only restriction we have 
is that only registered users can post, anyone not registered will have 
their posts held for moderation. If they are on topic they will 
generally be accepted and turn up on the list.

Just for reference, from my experience on other Sourceforge lists, this
does seem to happen occasionally.  I find that sometimes, messages are
delayed from being posted for a few hours.  Less frequently, messages
get lost completely.  

In the last few weeks, I've had one message get completely lost, and
I've also had a few experiences where I've immediately received CC
replies from people, but where the messages didn't show up on the list
for quite a while.

OK, thanks - I didn't think there was a filter, but I wanted to cross
that off as a possible cause. And as someone who's posted to this list a
couple of times with the wrong address, that was the first thing I
checked :-) 

My missing messages aren't in the mailing list archives either, so I'll
put it down to bad luck and coincidence.
