[Pythoncard-users] PythonCard application compiled executable

It would be nice to be able to run a PythonCard
application on a Linux box which does not have
PythonCard or even Python installed. Particularly as
the equivalent has been done to allow an app to be run
a Windows box.
PS Freeze allows a Python module to be compiled.
However, to do this for PythonCard would need the
interpreter from PythonCard to be included with the
rsrc.py & py files in the app.

One of these days I'm going to have to set some time
to try this.  The last I heard on this issue pointed
me to PyInstaller:

http://pyinstaller.hpcf.upr.edu/cgi-bin/trac.cgi

You may want to give that a try and let us know how it
works.
