OK. At least now that I've worked out why the Background Info wasn't
working for me I can switch to that instead.

The background image I'm using is mostly white at the moment (a scanned
image of a paper report), so that's not too much of a problem. I was
planning on giving the controls a different background colour
(sorry...color) to make them stand out to the user, so I'll bear that in mind.
