I think I mixed up something. PythonCard works now on Mandriva 2006
using:
wxPython-common-gtk2-ansi-2.6.1.0-mdk102_py2.4.i586.rpm
wxPython2.6-gtk2-ansi-2.6.1.0-mdk102_py2.4.i586.rpm
PythonCard-0.8.1-3mdk.noarch.rpm
The version of Python packed in Mandriva 2006 is 2.4.1
