To whoever implemented the above, thanks heaps. There I was, racking
my newbish brain as to how to accomplish this, a wxPython evangelising
acquaintance considered it too difficult to do, so in desperation I
rtfm'ed one last time, and there, down the bottom, was THE answer.

So, a big thanks to the person who created the above (I'm assuming
Kevin Altis), and also to the person who added that note to the docs.
I had fun trying to explain to my wife why I was doing a happy dance.
