Sadly, the typos were in my first dialog, so it didn't take long to check 
the other.

But I now have the sample program working, and found one other typo in 
PythonCard menus (repeated in four places).

The program (getSpell) is available at www.tweedly.net/Python
btw - I used a GridBagSizer so it can be an example of that too ...
