Just for reference, its going to be a bit before this version of wxPython ends up in Debian. We're currently in a freeze for the sarge release, which is hopefully coming within the next few weeks. Once wxPython 2.5.2.7 is packaged, I'll upload new PythonCard 0.8 packages against it.
