No worries - I sometimes worry that I come across too "in your face" in email too. I don't feel that you really had anything to apologize for, but I accept it in the spirit offerrd :-) This seems like a perfect opportunity to refrain from posting this hilariously funny 100's of lines long ultimate flame that I found online, but i'm sure the pig, the goat and the donkey will be happier for it ;-) As for your earlier post, I think I have not expressed myself well in my original post that you're responding to. It's also apparant that we differ in some philosophies; for example, we differ in how we regard XML. On the other hand, your experience with Boa mirrors mine which is too bad since it's obvious that a lot of work has gone into it. WRT the difficulty of coming up to speed on WxWindows, this is a common problem with large class libraries imo. The classic example is Smalltalk: you can learn the _language_ in 3 days or less. The _other_ 6 months is spent in learning the humongous class hierarchy (been there, done that). As for the rest of the post, i'll either take a stab at replying to yours, or maybe better yet, start a few new message threads concerning some of the points we've made back and forth.
