I'm sure Kevin will correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect that having
reminded people about the IRC facility several times over 2 years ago
(yikes...time flies) he might have given up waiting. I feel a bit
guilty...I had meant to use the facility but never got around to it
until it was too late :-(
