We ought to change the Debian-oriented installation instructions on that web page because the Debian package has been orphaned (or is in process of becoming so) and is out of date. I exchanged emails with the former (still listed?) maintainer, and he said he didn't have time to do it any longer. Of course, a body who wants to maintain the Debian package is preferable to amending the Debian instrucs to read "sudo python setup.py install", but if wishes were horses blah blah. Steve |
