I request the possibility of turning on a "grid" in the
resource editor for lining up components. A ruler along
with that would be nice to see visually if things are lined
up by clicking on the ruler and seeing a vertical or
horizontal line projecting from that location in the ruler
as to how things are lined up.
To complement the above:
When a component is selected, it would be nice to be
able to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to be able
to move components around for very detailed precision
of alignment. For example, hold the shift key down and
hit the arrow key would grow/size the component(s) in
the indicated direction. Holding the control key down
and hit the arrow key would move the component(s) in
right direction. These movements would be very
granular so as to be able to alight components precisely
when doing form development.
Thank you. :-)

The resourceEditor in 0.8.1 will support the arrow keys for moving a
component one pixel at a time, or by the grid amount, if that option is
checked in the menus. This feature is already available if you checkout
PythonCard from cvs.
