#28 evaluate shelve module

Is the shelve module that is part of the Python
Standard Libraries appropriate for reading and writing
resource files? How about for our data repository?

Use Shelve for card-level persistance?
Could Shelve be used to provide the implicit card-
level persistance HyperCard had?

Does anyone know if the DB files created by Shelve are
portable across platforms? That would be essential
for people to distribute and share PythonCard stacks
with the same freedom they as HyperCard stacks.
