Summary: Cad tools for Inkscape?

Hello everybody. I am an Inkscape user and I was wondering whether it could be possible to develop a kind of Cad Tools (as it has been done for Illustrator) for that vector graphic software. I guess it could be easier to start from here instead of from the Launchpad page of Inkscape because for sure your knowledge of Cad stuffs is deeper that the one that Inkscape developers may have.
Would it be too hard or completely out of your interest?

Forse in italiano è meglio, credo :-) Sfortunatamente non ho alcuna
conoscenza informatica per essere d'aiuto nello sviluppo. Diciamo che sono
un semplice utilizzatore. Tuttavia, credo che qualche sinergia con Inkscape
sarebbe interessante. Ovviamente, concordo sul fatto che Inkscape non abbia
vocazione da programma CAD puro, ma ha alcune caratteristiche che lo
rendono, dal mio punto di vista, un "partner" potenzialmente interessante.
Io sono un modellista navale e lo trovo assai facile da usare per tracciare
i piani di costruzione che poi esporto in Sketchup. Purtroppo, manca di
alcune fuznioni che sarebbero molto utili, ma pazienza. In bocca al lupo
per questo progetto

At the moment the project is hearing for new fresh developer that can help
us to ultimate the product.
For us it could be very useful if you can help us to develop pythoncad.
I think that there is not match effort to add some cad feature to inskepe,
but you have to keep in touch with inskepe developer ...
