Initial Comment:
The initial user's (top-)directory here pointed by the Open Drawing control form is different
from the user's (sub-)directory where the New Drawing automatically operates (see). These
two commands operate independently, and with no co-ordinated default mechanism offered to
the benefit of the [poor] user.
