Just this short message to the list to thank all the people who contributed to this library. I'm the maintainer of a free and open source CAD/PLM library (http://www.pythonocc.org
), and I've been running MacOSX Snow Leopard for one month. I was a bit disappointed to see my favorite GUI libraries (wxPython or PyQt) not being able to compile/run on Snow Leopard/Intel 64bit.
I discovered python-xlib this morning and it saved my life. It's perfect for my needs in the short term (display a window and handle events like mouse moves or key pressed), while waiting for wx or Qt to be fully supported on that platform.
