#1 Trouble uploading zip file

I'm having trouble uploading a zip (.zip) file. I have no trouble uploading other file formats like .txt, .xml, .dbf. But, the zip file always comes out 1KB on the server (no matter of the original size being uploaded) and is and invalid archive after uploading. Is this a know issue and/or is there a solution? Thanks.
