I'm pleased to announce the public release of 0.1.3c of python-ps3. The
support for SPU alpha blitting is about as fast as it's usefully going to be
any time soon and in the process I've made a number of improvements and
bugfixes.
This is probably the last release to focus on blitting for a while (unless I
find any major bugs), so it's probably worthy of an announcement.
I'm going to focus my attention on basic 2-channel sound support next
(although I'd really like to get 5-channel to DTS encoding happening on an
SPU soon!) so that I have the basic elements to start writing a decent game.
I've also got a bootable CD image in the pipeline, so currently it's a close
call which will get released first.
Have fun (and please let me know if you're using the library!)
Cheers,
Ralf.
