This has been a point of contention on the general markdown list from
time to time. It seems that most prefer the more lax interpretation -
but not everyone. The code in that part of python-markdown is some of
the oldest code and we really need to refactor it. If/when we do,
hopefully it'll be able to understand more lax indentation.
