I think it will be useful if we use it to write something that we don't have at the moment, such as a unit testing framework. Such a framework would serve a different purpose from my current test framework, which does black-box tests. If you write a unit testing framework, it would do us much good. But it will take some work, even with nose, much of which would go into deciding what to test and what not to test.
