caching

Hi there,

while browsing the python-ldap documentation I couldn't find any way 
to have python-ldap do some optional caching of retrieved datas. 

is there some caching mechanism in python-ldap ?

if not wouldn't it be desirable to have one ?

if yes, I'm ok to try to do it.
