working against CVS

So, I've applied the latest diff collection which includes StartTLS and 
the mem leak fix.

I'm running into compilation troubles. Configure correctly finds the 2 
arg modrdn2, but it still attempts to use the 3 arg version when it 
compiles. We now have setup.py. Is the use of setup.py now necessary?
