Note that those patches might break some python-ldap applications
(e.g. web2ldap).

Setting LDAP options seems to be different with OpenLDAP 2.0. If I
remember correctly Konstantin's patch addresses setting options by
making available LDAPObject attributes "referrals" and "restart".
