hi there

i hope this is not deemed to be to trivial for an answer....

is there some difference b/w the format of the tex in the documentation
and normal tex? when i try 
tex python-ldap-1.10alpha3/Doc/_ldap/Doc.tex

i get 
! Undefined control sequence.
messages

is there something else i need to read the documentation for this
project?  
lines like the following are a hard hard to cope with for a new to
python person
