Off course, I wouldn't regard OpenLDAP 2.0 as being stable.

Well, if you're going to release python-ldap 2.0 soon it does not
make sense to mess around with OpenLDAP 2.0.

(But I'm still very keen on getting client-side SSL support... ;-)
