Hi all, Just FYI, I've moved all pytelemeter source code to GitHub: https://github.com/robbiev/pytelemeter It's been years since I worked on the project but at least now the sources will be easier to access. Note that pytelemeter hasn't worked since the introduction of the newest telemeter. Cheers Robbie |

Hi, I installed version 1.5 of the pytelemeter (under pc-bsd 8.1). Install went ok. But when launching pytelemeter I get the following error : [beni@bsdaddict /usr/home/beni/Downloads/pytelemeter-1.5]$ python --version Python 2.6.5 [beni@bsdaddict /usr/home/beni/Downloads/pytelemeter-1.5]$ pytelemeter Fetching information... In the .pytelemeterrc I had tried with the email and the client number logon, but still no go... Is something wrong on my side here or is it a Telenet server acces problem ? Beni. |

Y class of society. My friends sometimes accused me of judging people's intelligence by the interest they took in effective voting; but, although this may have been true to a certain extent, it was not wholly correct. Certainly I felt more drawn to effective voters, but there are friendships I value highly into which my special reform work never enters. Just as the more recent years of my life have been coloured by the growth of the movement which means more to me than anything else in the world, so must the remaining chapters of this narrative bear the imprint of its influence. CHAPTER XX. WIDENING INTERESTS. During this period my work on the State Children's Council continued, and I never found time hang heavily on my hands; so that when Mr. Kingston met me one day later in the year, and told me he particularly wished me to accept an appointment as a member of the Destitute Board, I hesitated. "I am too old," I objected. "No, no, Miss Spence," he replied laughingly, "it is only we who grow old--you have the gift of perpetual youth." But I was nearly 72, and at any rate I thought I should first consult my friends. I found them all eager that I |

Beste, ik vroeg me af of ik nog een update kan verwachten van pytelemeter? ik krijg de volgende error: > Fetching information... > Traceback (most recent call last): > File "/usr/bin/pytelemeter", line 124, in <module> > meter.fetch() > File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/pytelemeter/Telemeter.py", > line 83, in fetch > raise last > pytelemeter.Parser. Alvast bedankt Met vriendelijke groeten Thomas |

Scarcely at all. The hogs squealed. They, too, were cold as well as hungry, and toward morning they quarreled, bit one another and made piercing outcries. "Oh, don't I wish 'twas morning!" Willis exclaimed again and again. Fortunately, the Shakers were early risers, and long before sunrise three of them, clad in gray homespun frocks and broad-brimmed hats, appeared. They greeted us solemnly. "Thee has met with trouble," said one of them, who was the elder of the village. "But I think we can give thee aid." They proved to be past masters at handling hogs. From one of the halters they contrived a muzzle to prevent the hogs from biting us, and then with their help we caught and muzzled the hogs one by one and boosted them into the wagon. The good men stayed by us till the horses were hitched up and we were out of the woods and on the highway again. I had a little money with me and offered to pay them for their kind services, but the elder said: "Nay, friend, thee has had trouble enough already with the lion." And at parting all three said "Fare thee well" very gravely. We fared on, but not altogether well, for those hungry hogs were now making a terrible uproar. We drove as far as Gray Corners, where there was a country store, and there I bought a bushel of oats for the horses and a hundred-pound bag of corn for the hogs. The hogs were so ravenous that it was hard to be sure that each got his proper share; but we did the best we could and somewhat reduced their squealing. The hastily repaired wagon body had also given us trouble, for it had threatened to shake to pieces as it jolted over the frozen ruts of the road; but we bought a pound of nails, borrowed a hammer and set to work to repair it better, with the hogs still aboard--much to the amusement of a crowd of boys who had collected. It was almost noon when we left Gray Corners, and it was after three o'clock before we reached Westbrook, five miles out of Portland. Here whom should we see but the old Squire, who, growing anxious over our failure to appear, had driven out to meet us. He could not help smiling when he heard Willis's indignant account of what had delayed us. He thought it likely that we could recover the missing hog, and that evening he inserted a notice of the loss in the _Eastern Argus_. But |

A shrug of his shoulders, walked his horse up to the side of the litter and bent down his head. The lady spoke through the curtains in a whisper. "Your Excellency has been very kind to me, and allowed me to leave Peshawur with a procession, guarding the streets so that I might pass in safety and with great honour. Therefore I make a return. There is a matter which troubles your Excellency. You ask yourself the why and the wherefore, and there is no answer. But the danger grows." Ralston's thoughts flew out towards Chiltistan. Was it of that country she was speaking? "Well?" he asked. "Why does the danger grow?" "Because bags of grain and melons were sent," she replied, "and the message was understood." She waved her hand again, and the bearers of th |

a mausoleum for the favorite wife of Shah Jehan. When the latter was deposed by his son Aurungzebe, his daughter Jahanara chose to share his captivity and poverty rather than the guilty glory of her brother. On her tomb in Delhi were cut her dying words: "Let no rich coverlet adorn my grave; this grass is the best covering for the tomb of the poor in spirit, the humble, the transitory Jahanara, the disciple of the holy men of Christ, the daughter of the Emperor Shah Jehan." Travelers who visit the magnificent Taj linger long by the grass-green sarcophagus in Delhi, but give only passing notice to the beautiful Jamma Masjid, a mausoleum afterwards erected in her honor. Some writer has well said that David of the throne we cannot always recall with pleasure, but David of the Psalms we never forget. The strong, sweet faith of the latter streams like sunlight through even the closed windows of the soul, long after the wearied eye has turned with disgust from all the gilded pomp and pride of the former.
