Thanks for the patch. However, I can't detect under which situations
Row._fillCol is working bad. Please, may you provide an small test
case that exposes the problem? That would facilitate the making of a
test unit in order to avoiding this (or similar) problem in the
future.

BTW, try to see if the attached patch also works (although I don't
think so). If don't, I'll apply your patch until more investigation
would be done.
