These changes are already in our new SVN repository in carabos.com.

I take the opportunity for announce that we are leaving the CVS facilities
at SourceForge for keeping the PyTables source versions. Currently, the new
repository it is not public yet, but we will try to offer publicly
accessible snapshots nightly. Ivan, please, try to make this as soon as
possible, and send a separate announcement to this list.
