It appears the maintainer of this package is MIA so I added a couple of fixes 
and what not.  You can find my changes in the patches section of the sourceforge 
page.  Sorry for not announcing it here sooner.  A summary of the changes follows:

  * Reconfigured the packge with distutils
  * Added the debian directory for buildign a debian package
  * Added some functions to agi.py
  * Fixed manager.py so it is operational now
  * Added agitb (derrived from cgitb), to assist in debugging agi's
  * Tons of bug fixes
