Although based on BSD unix, Mac OS X is configured rather
differently from other unii.

In order to support the two major Python configurations on Mac OS
X (Apple's system install and the Debian-like fink install) we have
modified the setup.py script to use appropriate compilation and
link flags to use Apple's AltiVec implementation of Lapack and
BLAS.

These changes have no effect on other platforms.

    There are two routes to using Python on Mac OS X: the system install
    provided by Apple and a fink install (like Debian). The patch we provided
    earlier was primarily tested against system Python and has a minor glitch
    that prevents PySparse from compiling against fink Python. The attached
    patch fixes the problem (one errant little space).
