Hi:

I have connected an Arduino board (UNO) to a Raspberry Pi via USB - the values that I'm seeing in the Arduino serial monitor are different to those that are captured using pySerial. PySerial is general +20 to the value that is shown in the Arduino serial monitor. My project is to capture the temperature using a TMP36 temperature sensor. Am using Python 2.7. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to the cause? Thanks.

Difficult to say without looking at the data. Maybe a mix-up of decimal/hexadecimal formatted numbers? Is the protocol talked to your Arduino text based or binary? In case of text, numbers could be in decimal or hexadecimal notation etc.
