I'm running OSX 10.6 with Python 3.1.2

I installed pyserial with:
python3 setup.py install

When I "import serial" I get this in return:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "serial/__init__.py", line 21, in <module>
from serialposix import *
ImportError: No module named serialposix

Any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks!

    pySerial 2.6 and newer automatically uses 2to3 in setup.py to convert the files t python 3 syntax. This should solve this issue.
