As it says on the box. The main pyserial page has documentation for 2.6 and 2.6 can be installed using pip. A source tarball can be downloaded from http://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyserial/2.6 . However, it should probably also be available here, since this is linked from the documentation (or the link should be changed to the new repo)
