Hi everybody, I am new to the list, just a Python/Zope fan from Italy. :^)
Yesterday, after a lot of search for a way to write arcade games in Python, I found PySDL, and Cow Tipper, and PyAliens, and my life is not the same anymore. :^)))
A few problems aside (caused by not having audio on Linux on this stupid Compaq), I was going to study PyAliens as basis for a rewrite of the old Sega arcade Head On 2 ( http://www.klov.com/H/Head_On_2.html ), and lo, here comes The Pete Rewrite! That's what they call perfect timing!
Thanks to Mark, David, Pete and everybody else for such a tool. I look forward to share anything I may build.
Did anybody try to use Python2C ( http://www.mudlib.org/~rassilon/p2c/ ) to squeeze that extra ounce of performance?
