pyReCADE - MAME Arcade Cabinet Front-end / News: Recent posts

I finally committed the code that keeps track of the most frequently played games. That information is now displayed in the default theme, and you can quickly find your favorite games in the new Favorites category.

Well I've "officially" tried it out and am happy to report that pyrecade-tng runs fine under Windows without any modifications (other than the paths in in the pyrecade.cfg file). Once I'm ready to make an actual release I'll probably end up using py2exe to make a stand-alone app and save folks the trouble of getting the required libraries.

I began a major rewrite and rather than breaking what was working in pyrecade I created a new pyrecade-tng branch. It is not as complete as pyrecade was but it is far more flexible. All active development will be on this branch. Once it is up to the same level of useability as the original pyrecade, it will replace it.
